Library Services
Here you will find information about useful library services available to patrons and the community.
You can get a free Resident Evergreen library card if you are:
- A Westville Resident
- A property owner in Westville
What you need to bring with you:
You must present proof of residence when signing up for a card with either:
- An official government ID showing your current name and Westville address, such as a driver’s license or passport.
- An official government ID showing your current name, along with one of the following that shows your full name and Westville address:
- A computer generated credit card bill
- A bank statement or utility bill
- A doctor or hospital bill
- A lease agreement issued within the past 30 days.
If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must be present, and they must sign your application when you apply for a library card. Proof of residence must be presented in the parent or guardian’s name.
With a Westville library card, you also have access to our digital library services, Libby and hoopla.
After you download the Libby app to your mobile device, you can begin searching our collection. When you find the book you want to check out, simply click on it, and you can then check it out, put it on hold, or add it to your wish list!

Login Details: To log in to Libby, patrons will need to provide their library card number.
Checkout Details: Up to 10 items at a time, for a 21-day checkout period.

Instantly borrow free digital eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, comics, and TV shows courtesy of your public library. hoopla is the leading all-in-one digital library app, with over 800,000 titles—from best-selling novels and blockbuster movies to niche, hard-to find content, hoopla has something for everyone.
Where to access hoopla: Android, Apple, Desktop, Amazon
Login Details: To log in to hoopla, patrons will need to provide their library card number and their library PIN. Please contact the library to create or change your PIN.
Checkout Details: Up to 10 items each month, with the following checkout periods:
- E-Books and Audiobooks: 21 days
- Music: 7 days
- Videos: 3 days
Computer and WiFi access are available to the public. Guests must sign the library’s Computer User Agreement prior to use.
Please ask a library staff member for assistance connecting to the Guest WiFi.
The library offers printing and copying services to the public. Patrons can print using library computers or a personal mobile device connected to the Library Guest WiFi.
- Black and White: 10¢ per sheet
- Color: 25¢ per sheet
Faxing services are available to the public at the following rate:
- First page: $2.00
- Additional pages: $1.00 each
Please ask a library staff member for assistance with faxes.
Library rooms are available for rental to local organizations, businesses, or patrons.
Local organizations/groups/clubs will be exempt from charges for use of the meeting rooms. Private parties must put down a $50 deposit. If the room(s) has been cleaned up and no damages have occurred, $25 will be returned in the form of a check and mailed to the responsible party.
Please read the Meeting Room Policy before submitting an application. Applications are available by visiting the library. All applications are subject to approval by the Library Director under the guidelines set forth in the Meeting Room Policy.
